At Cumin Co., we engineer our products for durability, safety, and real Indian cooking conditions. This Limited Warranty reflects our commitment to stand behind genuine manufacturing defects — with clarity and fairness.

1. What Does “Limited” Mean?

This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues only.

It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, cosmetic variations, or performance changes arising from improper care.

If the issue arises from how the product was made, we take responsibility.
If it arises from how it was used, it falls outside warranty scope.

WARRANTY BY PRODUCT CATEGORY

ENAMEL CAST IRON COLLECTION

10-Year Limited Warranty

Coverage Duration: 10 years from the original date of purchase.

What’s Covered:

  • Manufacturing defects in the cast iron body

  • Structural cracks in the iron under normal residential use

  • Shipping damage reported within 24 hours of delivery

Our enamel coating is thermally tested up to 260°C and designed to resist acid exposure and regular cooking conditions when used as per care guidelines.

What’s Not Covered:

  • Normal wear, surface marks, staining, or discoloration

  • Damage caused by impact, dropping, or mishandling

  • Sudden temperature shock (e.g., stovetop to refrigerator, cold water on hot cookware)

  • Use above 260°C

  • Prolonged dry heating or overheating

  • Use of metal utensils or abrasive scrubbers

  • Industrial or commercial kitchen use

  • Damage to glass lids

  • Damage to wooden handles due to soaking, water exposure, or misuse

  • Minor aesthetic variations that fall within quality control standards

  • Cosmetic chipping, scratching, or damage to the outer enamel or edges of the cookware.

LITE SERIES

5-Year Limited Warranty

Coverage Duration: 5 years from original purchase.

What’s Covered:

  • Manufacturing defects in material or construction

  • Structural integrity issues under normal residential use

  • Shipping damage reported within 24 hours

Not Covered:

  • Surface wear due to overheating or misuse

  • Damage caused by high heat beyond 260°C

  • Impact damage, accidental drops

  • All exclusions listed under Enamel Cast Iron

  • Cosmetic chipping, scratching, or damage to the outer enamel or edges of the cookware

CERAMIC BAKEWARE

No Warranty

Ceramic bakeware does not carry warranty coverage due to its fragile nature and susceptibility to breakage from handling or thermal shock.

Shipping damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

ACCESSORIES (Spatulas, Boards, Organizers, Knobs, Tools)

No Warranty

Accessories are considered consumable-use products and do not carry warranty coverage.

Shipping damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED (APPLICABLE TO ALL PRODUCTS)

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality

  • Natural performance changes due to long-term usage

  • Stains, discoloration, patina development

  • Unauthorized repairs or alterations

  • Failure to follow care instructions

  • Claims without valid proof of purchase

  • Claims made outside the applicable warranty period

A Note on Enamel Performance

Enamel is vitreous glass fused onto cast iron at extremely high temperatures. It is not a chemical non-stick coating and does not peel under normal usage when care instructions are followed.

Over time:

  • Surface marks may appear

  • Food sticking can occur if improper heating or oiling techniques are used

These do not indicate manufacturing defects.

HOW TO FILE A CLAIM


First, please fill out our warranty form here to register your product, only for cases where product was not bought from our website.

Second, Please email: support@cuminco.com

Include:

  • Proof of purchase (Order ID or invoice)

  • Clear images of the product and issue

  • Short description of the concern

Our team will respond within 72 business hours.

If the claim is deemed eligible:

  • We may arrange pickup for inspection

  • Based on evaluation, we may repair, replace, or refund at our discretion

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

To remain eligible:

  • Product must be used for residential purposes only

  • Care instructions must be followed

  • Claim must fall within warranty scope

  • Claim must be raised within the applicable warranty period

CARE INSTRUCTIONS (MANDATORY FOR WARRANTY ELIGIBILITY)

  • Preheat on medium heat only (refer user manual for exact timing)

  • Do not heat empty beyond recommended duration

  • Use wooden or silicone utensils

  • Hand wash with mild soap and non-abrasive sponge

  • Avoid steel wool and harsh scrubbers

  • Allow cookware to cool before washing

  • Avoid sudden temperature changes

  • Store with separators to prevent scratches
