Returns & Refund Policy
This policy applies only to purchases made on www.cuminco.com and for users residing in India.
At Cumin Co., we stand by the quality of our enamel cast iron cookware. If your order doesn’t meet expectations, our returns and refund policy outlines all applicable scenarios.
1. Returns Eligibility
You may request a return or refund if:
- You received an unwanted item. Must be unused, in original condition and packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
- You received a faulty product. Eligible for exchange or refund under manufacturer’s warranty.
- You received a damaged or compromised package. See section below for required documentation.
2. Reporting Damaged / Compromised Deliveries
To process claims involving partial, tampered, or damaged deliveries, the following must be provided within 3 days of delivery:
a. Mandatory Documentation:
- Negative POD: A photo of the signed delivery receipt clearly noting “damaged” or “partial delivery”.
- 360° Unboxing Video showing:
- Outer package with label clearly visible
- Inner box and received contents
- Any visible damage or missing items
b. Scenarios:
- If delivery is rejected or POD is marked "damaged"/"partial": We will re-ship the missing or affected product(s). Refunds are not applicable in such cases unless agreed in writing.
- If delivery is accepted without POD remarks and unboxing video is missing: We will be unable to process any return or refund for damage or missing items. Your acceptance is treated as acknowledgment of complete delivery.
3. Refunds for Unwanted Items
- Refunds are only for the product value. Shipping and return shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Processing time: within 10 business days after receiving and inspecting the product.
- If returning only part of an order, refund applies only to the returned item(s).
4. Faulty Items

- Covered under manufacturer warranty (refer to the instruction booklet)
- We will respond within 2 working days with next steps.
5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Refunds
For COD orders, please email the following:
- Account holder’s name
- Bank account number
- IFSC code
Refunds are processed within 10 business days.
6. Cancellations
- Before Shipping: Can be cancelled for a full refund.
- After Shipping but Before Delivery: Write to support. Cancellation charges may apply.
- Refund will be issued after return verification of the product.
7. Gift Returns
- If marked as a gift: store credit will be issued upon approval.
- If not marked as a gift: refund goes to the original payment method.
8. Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable, except in cases of verified faults or damage. Sale items include products purchased during promotional events, limited-time offers, and bundled discounts.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Check your bank or credit card statement again.
- Contact your bank or card issuer (it may take some time to reflect).
- If it’s still pending after 10 business days, write to support@cuminco.com.
