Ingredients

1 serving
  • 1.5

    cups Nutella

  • 1.0

cup dark or milk chocolate, chopped

  • 0.5

    cup condensed milk

  • 2.0

    tbsp unsalted butter

  • 0.25

    tsp sea salt

  • 0.25

cup roasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped, plus extra for topping

  • A pinch of flaky sea salt, for garnish (optional)

Method

  1. Grease the Cumin Co. Baking Tray lightly and line with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy lifting later.

  2. In the Cumin Co. No 8 Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven, combine the chopped chocolate, condensed milk, and butter over low heat. Stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in the Nutella and sea salt, mixing until glossy and well combined.

  4. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts, reserving a few for topping.

  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared Cumin Co. Baking Tray, spreading evenly with the Cumin Co. Silicone Spatula to a smooth, level layer.

  6. Sprinkle the reserved hazelnuts and a light pinch of flaky sea salt over the top, pressing gently so they stay in place.

  7. Let the fudge cool at room temperature for 20 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until fully set and firm to the touch.

  8. Once set, lift out using the parchment overhang and slice into neat squares using a sharp knife.

Serving suggestions

Serve chilled or at room temperature, boxed up for festive gifting or added to a sweets platter alongside other barfis and fudges.

Cumin Co. Expert Tip

Line the tray with parchment and leave enough overhang to lift the whole slab out in one piece since cutting fudge directly in the tray makes it harder to get clean, straight edges on every piece.

Cleaning & care guide

Allow the  Cumin Co. No 8 Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven to cool before cleaning, then soak briefly in warm water to loosen any melted chocolate residue. Use Cumin Co. Gleam Cream with the Cumin Co. Cleaning Scrub for stubborn spots, preserving the enamel's glossy finish.
