Warranty Policy
All Enamel Cast Irons products are covered by a 10 year warranty. This includes any product that Cumin Co. sells, including those sold directly on our website and by our authorised retailers and marketplace platforms. Any piece that has any manufacturing or shipping damages will be replaced by us at no additional charge. This includes manufacturing defects, faulty workmanship, damage during shipping, and dents or material damage during manufacturing.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, unauthorised repairs, or any use not in compliance with care instructions
- Damage to coating from high heat (beyond 260 degree celsius), metal utensils, or use of abrasive materials
- Commercial use
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, stains, or discolouration that occur with regular handling of the product
- Damage resulting in internal cracking of enamel due to sudden temperature shocks or exposure to extreme temperatures (eg: putting a cookware from stove directly in the fridge and verse versa)
- Any accidents such as dropping the cookware
- Problems from using the cookware on industrial burners or stoves
- Any damage to glass lid
- Any damage to wooden handles
How to File A Warranty Claim
First, please fill out our warranty form here to register your product, only for cases where product was not bought from our website.
If your product was purchased from our website in the past 7 days, you can initiate a return through the “My Order” page.
Outside of our 7 day return, please check if your product is eligible for our limited warranty by contacting our support team at support@cuminco.com. When requesting a claim, please provide your order number or purchase receipt and product images. Our support team will review your claim and inform you whether your product is eligible under policy. If your claim is approved by them, they will have your product picked up for a final quality inspection. Depending on the evaluation, the product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
Important Care Instructions
Please note that you must follow these care instructions to be eligible for our limited warranty.
General Use:
- Do not heat the cookware empty on high heat beyond 260 degree celsius (4 mins on medium flame for pre-heating is needed, please refer user manual for exact minutes of pre-heating needed for which dish.)
- Avoid using metal utensils
- Avoid using steelwool or any sharp scrub while using that can cause abrasions on the coating
- Always use on temperatures below 260 degree celsius to prevent coating damage
- Do not fill the cookware with more than 2/3rd of the liquid volume
Cleaning:
- Hand wash with mild soap and a non-abrasive sponge
- Do not use steel, wool, or harsh cleaning pads
- Avoid dishwashers for regular use.
- In case of an oil spill on the body, immediately hand wash the body with a gentle soap
- For stubborn stains, add baking soda in the cookware with water and boil for 1 minute. Allow the cookware to cool down for 5-10 mins before cleaning with regular dishwashing liquid and scrub (no steelwool) to easily remove the stains.
Maintenance:
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Separate cookware with cloth or paper to prevent scratches
- Avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g., from stovetop to refrigerator or vice versa).
